Default Here's my blog

I've been blogging for a few years now on LiveJournal, but I just started a copywriting blog called, interestingly enough, The Copywriting Blog. You can check it out at The Copywriting Blog

Enjoy!

Thumbs up The Musings of the CopyGhost

My blog is a record of the joys and frustrations of starting my long journey toward writing full-time. It focuses primarily on marketing my services and my website on a shoestring budget, and tries to keep a really informal, fun tone.

That's a great idea, Lori!

I've been doing something similar, but only directing people to my main site. I might just try out your technique, if I may... :-)

My blog is fairly young, but it is getting quite a number of page hits per day and I have gained one client from it already. Bonus!

You can find it here:

Would love to know what you all think?

Cheers!

Hi All.

I've been getting Clayton's newsletter for a long time now, only just found out about this forum though. I used to be a plasterer, health intervened and am now looking at copywriting as an option.

I get a bit worried when I read of the amount of writing you folks have to do to earn your money, but appreciate the dedication.

I have set up a blog which I post to fairly regularly. (Infact I've got several, which to me is probably NOT a good idea). Anyway, blogs were requested here, so thought I'd just put mine up for looking at.

Reading Berkshire loonies Blog.

I also put it in my signature as it's the one I'll be keeping up with regularly, and will be the most relevant to me. Hopefully, someone will tell me if I've got just an inkling of a chance at copywriting, or if I ought to give up now.

Cheers, Pete.

Hi, I currently write two blogs, one on business, mindset and copywriting, called Writing For Results, and one on poetry which I post to less frequently, called Well Versed Poetry.

In fact, poetry was what got me into writing more seriously and considering a writing career. But how many rich poets do you know? So copywriting in all its manifestations, it is.

Both blogs use Blogger and are attached to my website. My old blog, just called Well Versed, was on blogspot. Since I've become a full time copywriter, in partnership with my wife, having the main blog as part of the site seemed more professional. Plus, it loads quicker!

Once we've finished our latest project, we'll probably start a new blog on our Cinnamon Edge site and use it to post our newsletter online.

Blogging is fun, if rather consuming of time, energy and ideas. The secret, it seems to me, is to post frequently and well.

Roy

Default Nice Blog Roy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Roy,
I just checked out your poetry blog and found it refreshingly honest.
I think a lot of poetry blogs are either just too pretentious, or they're too 'Fluffy'. You seem to be writing with a free spirit, not writing as the 'uni-professor' told you how to write poetry.
'Poetry On The Fly' particularly caught my attention because I find writing in rhyme totally 'frees' the word flow. (I wonder if Claytons ever thought of doing a 'rhyming' salesletter. Maybe he's done one?)
My own poetry blog is; The Poets Lodge
Check it out if you've got time.
Good luck,
Pete.
Thanks Pete. I'll check out yours, too.
Meanwhile, if Clayton ever wants someone to write a rhyming salesletter, he knows where to come
I haven't dared try it myself, although I've done a few brief networking presentations in verse.
Off to look at your poetry blog now.
Cheers
Roy
Default Blog for real estate professionals
I've got a blog I've been writing for about a year and a half now.
Big Cheese Insider Secrets
At first, I was blogging 3 times a week. Then, after Dave Dee goaded me into it, I started blogging daily. I have to say, had I known the traffic it'd generate, I would have done it months ago! We've added 600-1000 unique visitors each month that I've blogged daily. It's astounding!
Enjoy!
Rachel
Default Commodity trading blog
I have a blog dedicated to commodity trading
I'm currently posting two types of information on the blog:
1. My personal commodity account (trades, positions, etc)
2. Interesting commodity related news
I'd love to hear any feedback - I'm still in the early stages of this and am trying to figure out the best format.
