Entering A New market -- spying on competitors?

Hey Guys,

So you've spotted what looks like a hot market... you know of
some websites that are profitable in it and seem to be doing
well...

And you know they advertise on google for at least one keyword
or two you've seen their ads...

How do you go about SPYING on them to figure out what the
profitable keywords are to go after in that market?

What software do youse guys use?
