Question Tips or Ideas for Joint Venture?

Hi,

I am facing a challenge at the moment and would appreciate any ideas or tips having to do with Joint Venturing to help build my opt-in list.

Here is how things kinda stand for me at the moment...

I can think of plenty of joint venture prospects for after I get my club rolling because I certainly am not a guru and can only teach the basics right now to get started making money the right way...

The problem comes in when I look at joint venturing to help build my list. I guess my main problem is how to approach someone who doesn't even know me or what I am capable of or can offer others, and ask them to recommend me to their list.

Why would they promote me if they don't know me enough to have confidence in what I have to offer?

I mean, sure I can offer them benefits by promoting them in return in some way, offering my services free, etc and would be willing to consider any ideas they would like to implement...but what can I do to persuade someone to take a risk on a complete unknown like me, so to speak?

I would think that it would be a concern to many people I would want to approach, to make sure they aren't promoting something negative or inferior to their lists...so....

What mind frame do I need here or action should I take to get me past this hurdle and make sure I am approaching it in the right way?

This is a new step for me and I am definitely out of my comfort zone. I know that is actually a good thing tho...because it motivates me to seek the answers and get out here and communicate

I know there are many successful people here that were once in my shoes or similar situation...so please help me by sharing advice or tips that can help me grow!! I am ready and willing to learn

Thanks a bunch!
Veronica

Default Just an update...

Well, I guess there is something to be said for the good ole standby of faking it till you make it! I guess that is what everyone does when they are first starting out and know what to do but haven't experienced something new that must be done to grow.

I decided to just dive right in and see what response I got...

It worked out really well for me for my first JV, in fact much better even than anticipated! I got some great feedback as well and have some changes to implement that will really help this whole project. I came away enthused and gained so much! It also helped greatly to build my confidence!

So to anyone in my shoes, doing something like this for the first time...while things may seem confusing and chaotic...keep moving forward, don't ever give up. Many times it is the risk we take that changes everything for us and gives us a better direction.

To Success!

Hey Veronica

I think "just do it" is nearly always the best answer, followed closely by "test"

Good to hear things worked out well.

Cheers
Kyle
