I have a couple of questions.

1) what does "38% maturity" mean?

2) Okay, I must have missed this day in math class, but

In (A) you got an ROI of .9477%
And in (B) you got an ROI of 100.82%.

Then say that that's "15% better than Panel A and 84.5% better than the control."

Please, answer slooowly, math is not my forte.

Thanks.

Isn't the difference between 100% and 94%, 6%?

Default The testimonial does match photo NOT believable!

The black guy looks miserable what kind of image do you want to project to the readers subconcious minds? Mixed results?

Get rid of the photo!

Looks like the guy just got arrested with a mugshot taken!

He's smiling and giving everyone a big thumbs up! A positive pic. Also, I think the headline is much better because a large portion of USians have hypertension.

Default It may be possible to use both...

An old method used in the past by list owners was to test sending both proven promotions to the same list.

Whether this strategy is worthwhile to test in this case would depend on whether you're renting lists, the size of your universe and a few other factors.

But I think it's a valuable strategy to understand.

The same list may respond to BOTH control sales letters if they're pitched in different ways and both sales letters may be profitable.

You may experience a drop in response when you send the second control to the same list but if the response is high enough to be profitable you're picking up clients you would have otherwise missed...

Logistics will always play a part (in this case your universe is soooo large that you probably wouldn't bother) but ultimately you should pursue every advertising method that's profitable.

Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh

I don't know how you'd work this in, but maybe relay that the pic of grouchy was taken before he had the therapy.

Then explain he was so busy enjoying his new heart (splashing in the tropics) that he couldn't be reached for the after picture...yet. With a cliff hanger on the update on when you order?

Meet the pic paradox head on.

P.S. Nothing on the web more valuable than this forum. Amazing.

Default If he's so goddamned healthy why isn't he smiling?

Or you could change the headline altogether...

"If He's So Goddamned Healthy Why Isn't He Smiling?"

Then explain that the guys smile was so bright it was screwing up the camera and all the photos were coming out like someone just set off a nuclear bomb.

So the photographer smacked him around the head a few times and took a picture real fast before his dazzling, sunshine-like smile came back.

Okay I'm kidding.

Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh
