Default Free Swipe File

Hey Folks,

Just thought I'd start a thread where we can post and share promotions we've received in the mail. And build our collective swipe file.

I get a ton of great stuff these days so I'll try and post PDFs on a regular basis -- so check back often.

Through the grapevine I was told this magalog was done by top copywriter David Deutsch:Could be unconfirmed rumor though.

Second Opinion Magalog

Click on the link above to view or download it as a PDF.

It's 27 pages of pure beauty!

John

Default Direct Mail with Involvment Devices

I posted this one in another thread (which inspired me to creat this one --thx MtBkr!).

It's another beaut! It has a couple of grabbers -- a drill guage and note pad... a scratch off device on the repsonse device... an 'I accept' token to peel off and put on the resposne device.

Plus it leverages the law of reciprocity by giving you not just the drill gauge but a bunch of personalized the return address labels so ubiquitous in fundraising promos.

Combine that with a killer offer and the fact that it targets the man of the household for new home buyers (maybe more lists but that's how I've received it in the past and my friend received this one) -- and you've got a great package.

Click below to see it:

Handyman Club of America

It's cool.
John

P.S. This one came to friend of mine so I blacked out his name and address. It was highly personalized so that's why so there are so many black spots.

Default Parris Lampropoulos swipe for Men's Health

Here's one from the great Parris himself --

It's another magalog, this time for Men's Health. Careful -- it's a little racey:

Parris Lampropoulos's Men's Health Magalog

Here's a promotion written by Jim Punkre for Men's Health

Jim Punkre's Men's Health Magalog

I'm going to crack open the massive archives here at The Total Package and post as many of this things as I can. Especially since so many readers are overseas where it's harder to come by these puppies.

Enjoy this one and I'm off to dig up more!

John

Thanks for taking the time to post the 3 PDFs John!

Any reason why the page order for the Last Longer PDF is off? After the cover, the next page is page 10. I'm assuming page 2 is really page 10 in the PDF.

Is the Second Opinion PDF showing 4 different front covers? Also, page 2 in the PDF should have been the last page.

Glad you're finding it helpful.

Here's a scan of a newsletter insert from The Rosengarten Report.

Sorry for the black and white on this one. My old scanner sucked and my hard copy is in a box somewhere.

John

Default Swipe Files

Hi John, thanks for the great swipes. I find as a copywriter you just can't read enough good material. It starts to rub off after a while.
Thanks agin.
Rick
