Hi Chris,

Have you read & studied much on copywriting and direct response yet?

Everyone I know who's successful at this either started off with direct experience in the direct response business or studied their butt off through books, newsletters, courses and just about everything they could get tehir hands on.

There are a TON of FREE resources to teach you more than you could possibly absorb at one time. And if you master what's in those resources you'll be far along.

A good place to start is by reading Clayton's archived articles in order that they appeared. Go to this page and scroll down and read from the bottom up:

Clayton Makepeace's Copywriting Articles

Then, check out the late Gary Halbert's archived site. Again, start at the bottom of the page and work your way up:

Gary Halbert's Archive

Third, you should check out Gary Bencivenga's newsletter

Then, get on John Forde's newsletter and Michel Fortin's blog, Brian Clark's blog, and Doug D'Anna's newsletter.

In other words, you don't have to wait for someone else to teach you, there's so many resources for you to study to get going.

PLUS, what you learn from taking the time to study these people's work will make it infinitely easier for you to craft a promotion to entice someone to mentor you, hire you, etc.

Hope that helps and best of luck!
John

Default Thank you John

Thank you for the information. I burn a lot of midnight oil getting and learning the information that got me here and want to thank you for responding to my thread. I will take a look at the links and get back to you if I have any questions.

Please feel free to send me any tips or advice you can think of. I would be honored if you did. I will keep an eye out for your new threads and articles.

Much thanks,

Chris
